Job summary

ACCIONA in New Zealand is seeking a Finance professional to handle accounts payable for a landmark Northland transport project. You will process supplier invoices, post journals, and assist with budgets and financial reporting as part of a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma or degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
• Experience in accounts payable, finance admin or bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Experience using accounting or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
• Post journals and maintain ledgers within the accounting system.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support preparation of budget submissions and financial reports.
• Maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
• Apply financial controls and compliance requirements consistently.
• Respond promptly to internal and external finance queries.
