Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer in Auckland to process supplier invoices and postings, reconcile accounts, and support budgeting and reporting. This role offers flexible benefits and a dynamic project environment on NZ’s North Island transport initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma or degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
• Experience in accounts payable, finance admin or bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Experience using accounting or ERP systems.
• Sound knowledge of accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
• Post journals and maintain ledgers within the accounting system.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support preparation of budget submissions and financial reports.
• Maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
• Apply financial controls and compliance requirements consistently.
• Respond promptly to internal and external finance queries.
