Job summary

Archway Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer in Wellington for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role covers end-to-end accounts payable with exposure to tax compliance, reconciliations, and month-end processes. SAP experience is advantageous, and a proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

The successful candidate will manage supplier invoices, POs, and payments while supporting GST/FBT activities and contributing to process improvements within a small finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Payable position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using SAP or other top tier finance systems.
• Adaptable and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Prepare monthly credit card statements.
• Raise and issue purchase orders.
• Support billing and collections activities as required.
• Assist with GST and FBT information.
• Support month-end processes and reconciliations.
• Assist with finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
