Job summary

OfficeMax New Zealand is seeking an Account Manager – Education to drive sales with Education customers across the Otago region. You will build strong partnerships, understand school requirements and tailor customized solutions to help providers operate with ease.

You will excel at identifying opportunities and developing strategic plans with schools and education networks. In this role you will increase sales and gross profit, grow share of wallet and ensure plans are in place to deliver on

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience working within schools or a B2B environment.
• Proven track record of developing strong business relationships.
• Demonstrated experience in supplier and customer negotiations.
• Experience working in matrix team structures.
• Commercial, logistics and problem-solving skills.
• Sustainability and HS&W champion.

The role: Account Manager - Education

Work with multiple stakeholders across the Education sector covering an Otago territory. You will excel at building strong partnerships to understand their requirements and strategically identify new opportunities, creating customized solutions to help them operate with ease.

In this diverse role you will be responsible for increasing sales and gross profit targets, growing share of wallet, and ensuring plans are in place to deliver on time.

Please note there may be some travel on a quarterly basis as well
