Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley is recruiting Call Centre Operators for Wellington, based in the Patient Administration Services. This permanent, full-time role involves rostered and rotating shifts to provide timely information and support to patients and staff.

You will handle incoming calls, patient enquiries, paging, duress alarms, and administrative tasks while collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure a smooth patient journey.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a call centre environment 24/7 cover rostering and rotating
• Ability to take ownership accountability and responsibility for the role.
• Ability to maintain patient and office confidentiality in line with the Privacy Act
• Good computer skills along with excellent verbal and written communication
• Customer focussed attitude
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls, patient enquiries, paging, 777, duress alarms, Doctors rosters, swipe cards, technical enquiries.
• Form an integral part of the wider Patient Administration Services and work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff in all areas to ensure the patient experience exceeds expectations, undertaking various other administration tasks that support day-to-day activities.
