Life Insurance Modelling & Actuarial Lead
Job summary
A leading global actuarial firm is seeking a nearly qualified or newly qualified actuary to work on modeling projects for insurance clients, from small mutual firms to large multinationals. You will contribute to the delivery of actuarial consulting services for life insurance and reinsurance clients and support senior colleagues in building client relationships. Strong actuarial knowledge and coding skills in R, Python, VBA, and Julia are required. This role is based in Norway and offers a structured progression in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Nearly qualified or newly qualified actuary.
- Strong actuarial and financial knowledge with experience in life insurance or reinsurance.
- Strong modelling skills and coding skills, including R, Python, VBA, Julia.
Responsibilities
- Work on modelling projects with insurance clients.
- Contribute to actuarial consulting services for life insurance.
- Support colleagues in building client relationships and preparing materials.
