Job summary

A leading carbon capture technology company in Viken, Bærum is seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer to lead technical safety efforts across various projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Technical Safety, proficient in risk management and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the industrial energy transition and work in a dynamic, inclusive environment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help achieve sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ overall experience in Technical Safety.
  • Experience in discipline lead role.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Technical safety lead in projects with responsibility for deliverables.
  • Oversee project risk management.
  • Develop project specific technical safety documentation.
  • Contribute to methodologies for CCUS projects.
  • Plan and facilitate risk and safety reviews.
