Tuboscope Norge AS, a fully owned subsidiary of NOV, is a leading provider of inspection and maintenance services for drill pipe and drilling-related equipment. With operations in Stavanger, Florø, and Mongstad, we employ around 150 dedicated professionals. Our Tananger department is recognized for its expertise in drill pipe inspection, Casing/Tubing, and technical support. We are committed to quality, innovation, and safety in everything we do.

• Qualified CNC Operator (or relevant experience)
• Proficiency in Norwegian or English, spoken and written
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use measuring tools
• Accurate, structured, and safety-focused work approach

Through our collaboration with the Vocational Training Office (Opplæringskontor/OFIR), we can offer both traditional apprenticeships and apprenticeships for qualified personnel who want to gain a trade certificate as a CNC Operator. For this route, relevant technical background is required.

We operate several different machines and processes, and are looking for candidates to strengthen our teams in multiple areas:

1. CNC Lathe (Okuma) – Recut and Threading (Casing/Tubing Department)
   • Repair and machining of premium threads (API, GP, VAM, etc.)
   • Production of new threads on customer-supplied casing and tubing
   • Measurement, inspection, and documentation in line with strict quality requirements
   • Close collaboration with inspection and maintenance of drill pipe
2. CNC Lathe (Okuma and Poreba with Siemens) – New Production
   • Production of components for the oil and gas industry
   • Work based on technical drawings and production specifications
   • High-precision machining with strong focus on quality and safety
3. CNC Pipe Boring / Gundrilling
   • Operation of CNC pipe boring machines
   • Precision drilling of pipes and components for drilling operations
   • New production and documentation in accordance with industry standards
