The GPU team, part of the wider Central Engineering organisation in the IP Group in Arm, produce Graphics hardware and software products for mobile and embedded devices. The Mali and Immortalis range of Graphics Processors (GPUs) offers a sophisticated, programmable architecture for hardware acceleration of 2D and 3D graphics.

Arm Norway is the birthplace of our Mali GPUs. We are seeking a passionate graduate engineer to join our software Team.

• Hold (or are on track to hold) a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science or a related field by the programme start date
• Have knowledge and a strong interest in the principles of 3D graphics and a sound knowledge and understanding of C/C++
• Experience with Linux OS
• Have a passion for all aspects of software engineering both within and outside your degree course
• Are a strong team-player
• Have ability to work to tight deadlines

• Hands on experience of application, driver, or OS development (e.g. iPhone, Xbox XNA, or open source projects)
• Exposure to 3D graphics programming, graphics processors, or video processing
• Exposure to standards like Vulkan, OpenGL/ES, OpenCL, or Direct3D and DirectX
• Understanding of embedded systems and how they function
• Use of revision control systems, bug tracking applications
• Previous work experience within a software environment
