Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a skilled Work Prep Engineer to drive timely and accurate preparation of work orders supporting construction, mechanical completion, and commissioning activities. The role emphasizes safe execution aligned with project schedules and company standards.

The ideal candidate brings a technical education plus 5+ years in oil & gas, proficiency with MC processes and PIMS PES, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas or related industry.
• Familiarity with MC and commissioning completion processes and PIMS CMS/PIMS PES.
• Strong understanding of drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and technical documentation.
• Fluent in Norwegian and good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Work Order Preparation: develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including man-hour estimates, drawings, procedures, and MTO.
• Interface Management: collaborate with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Quality & HSSE Compliance: review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, ensure HSSE compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.
