Job summary

MDE Norway Kristiansand is seeking an logistics professional to coordinate export/import shipments and manage transportation planning for international and domestic orders. The role involves preparing shipment documents and handling back-office tasks in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualified candidates will have a logistics degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in logistics/shipping, knowledge of Incoterms, and fluent Norwegian and English.

• Knowledge of Incoterms and supply chain concepts.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English (verbal and written).

Job Description

• The Logistics team in Kristiansand is responsible for shipments of spare parts for all departments in client Aftermarket, both 3rd party customers as well as inter-company customers around the world.
• We also take care of spare parts packages to new installations and service and repair.
• Aftermarket Logistics Kristiansand has 8 dedicated professionals working closely with Supply Chain teams and towards sales departments across all of our business units.
• Coordinate export/import shipments on behalf of client and global customers.
• Planning and implementing transportation of goods for both international and domestic shipments.
• Prepare shipment documents in accordance with the Logistics Aftermarket processes and client policies.
• 3rd part logistics.
• Multiple services and assistance on behalf of internal and external customers within the discipline.
• Various back-office tasks and documentation.

Qualification Requirements

• Degree in Logistics or similar, and/or minimum two years relevant experience with Logistics, Shipping or Freight Forwarding.
• Knowledge of Incoterms.
• Supply chain understanding, both theoretical and practical.
• Structured, accurate and serviceminded.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English is required, both verbally and in writing.
