Job summary

MDE Norway is seeking a seasoned environmental consultant to support client activities and projects within the environmental discipline in Stavanger. You will provide expert advice on environmental management, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Your role includes regulatory engagement and reporting on performance data for CSRD and OGMP, driving improvements in data systems and emissions initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Relevant higher university degree.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards.
  • High level of expertise in oil and gas industry practices and client needs.
  • Full command of English and Norwegian.
  • Preferably a valid offshore safety course (GSK).

Responsibilities

  • Support the client’s activities and projects within the environmental discipline.
  • Provide expert advice on environmental management.
  • Conduct environmental assessments.
  • Ensure activities comply with environmental standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments.
  • Support regulatory processes and government correspondence.
  • Coordinate collection, verification, reporting of environmental performance data (CSRD and OGMP).
  • Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools.

  • Provide expert advice on environmental management

  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations
  • Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
  • Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
  • Coordinate the collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including relevant internal and external reporting requirements such as CSRD and OGMP
  • Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
  • Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tool
Qualification Requirements
  • Relevant higher university degree
  • Typically 5–10 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
  • High level of expertise and a thorough understanding of oil and gas industry practices, the client’s needs and general business conditions
  • Full command of English and Norwegian
  • Preferably a valid offshore safety course (GSK) Duration: a.s.a.p - 30.06.2027
