Job summary

Kongsberg Discovery is seeking a Skilled Manufacturing and Assembly Operator to join our Mapping production team. You will assemble, test and inspect underwater sensors and related equipment, ensuring products meet quality standards and documenting non-conformities.

You will work with QA, assembly and testing, contribute to prototype development, and collaborate with development on next-generation sensors. The role requires methodical work, good communication in Norwegian and English, and

Qualifications

Technical college education or a trade certificate in production electronics, IT, electronics or a related field.
Relevant work experience and personal suitability may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications.
Experience from production, testing or quality control.
Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test and inspect underwater sensors and related equipment.
Ensure that products meet applicable quality standards.
Report and follow up findings and non-conformities.
Collaborate with the development department on next-generation sensors and prototypes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of products and production processes.
Communicate findings, non-conformities and improvement opportunities to the team leader, product owners and relevant colleagues.
