Job summary

Kongsberg Discovery is seeking a Skilled Manufacturing and Assembly Operator to join our Mapping production team. You will assemble, test and inspect underwater sensors and related equipment, ensuring products meet quality standards and documenting non-conformities.

You will work with QA, assembly and testing, contribute to prototype development, and collaborate with development on next-generation sensors. The role requires methodical work, good communication in Norwegian and English, and

Qualifications

• Technical college education or a trade certificate in production electronics, IT, electronics or a related field.
• Relevant work experience and personal suitability may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications.
• Experience from production, testing or quality control.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.

An exciting opportunity has opened in Kongsberg Discovery for a Manufacturing Operator in Mapping. In this role, you will work with quality assurance, assembly and testing of our high-technology hydroacoustic transducers, with opportunities to contribute to prototype development. Our transducers operate in demanding environments at great ocean depths, requiring high precision and robust production processes. You will join an engaged, technically skilled and quality-conscious team.
