VDL Bus Norway AS is seeking a skilled heavy vehicle mechanic to contribute to service for our customers. The Oslo South workshop handles maintenance, repair, and diagnostics for a VDL fleet of electric buses, offering a modern and flexible workplace.

In the Oslo South area, we have operated a workshop since 2021 for a bus operator with a VDL fleet of 102 fully electric buses. We carry out maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work at this workshop and ensure a modern and flexible workplace.
We are looking for a person who:
Has education as a heavy vehicle mechanic (or a related field)
A minimum of 3 years of experience is an advantage
Has experience with troubleshooting and the use of modern diagnostic equipment
Is proficient in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage
Holds a class D driver’s license – this is an advantage
Has the ability to understand technological issues
Is solution-oriented and structured
Can work independently and in a team
Focuses on quality and good teamwork
Certain requirements may be waived with extensive experience.
The workplace will be in the Oslo South area, and shift work should be expected.
