NOV seeks a Test Engineer to join its QC/Test team at the Søgne repair facility. You will inspect, test and document equipment, working with customers, suppliers and classification societies to ensure quality and compliance.

The role combines mechanical and hydraulic knowledge with hands-on testing, with a path toward leading tests and coordinating with third parties. Strong Norwegian/English and 5+ years' experience are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher; offshore experience preferred.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification an advantage.
• Strong technical reading of drawings; good PC skills.
• Fluent Norwegian and English; PLC/hydraulics experience a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections and quality-control at Søgne facility and supplier sites.
• Prepare equipment for testing per procedures.
• Develop toward independently leading equipment tests with customers and third parties.
• Follow up with customers, suppliers and classification societies during inspection and testing.
• Prepare clear inspection/test documentation and reports.
• Support equipment overhaul and apply practical equipment knowledge.
• Maintain focus on quality, accuracy and HSE.
• Travel locally and internationally as needed.
