We are now looking for a Tender Expert who is passionate about Power Systems to join our Tendering team in Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will play a crucial role in preparing and submitting competitive tenders for power system projects, utilizing your expertise in power system design, analysis, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end tendering process for power system simple and medium complexity opportunities
  • Analyze customer requirements, technical specifications, and commercial conditions to develop competitive and complaint offers
  • Define and contribute to the tender strategy in alignment with sales and opportunity strategy
  • Develop optimized technical-commercial solutions, balancing cost, risk, and customer expectations
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, commercial, and contractual risks
  • Ensure alignment between offer scope, execution capabilities, and delivery constraints
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, execution, finance, and suppliers
  • Manage tender timelines, approvals, and internal governance processes
  • Act as a key interface during tender phase, supporting customer interactions and clarifications
  • Ensure proper handover from tendering to execution/project teams
  • Drive continuous improvement of tender processes, tools, and standard offerings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering preferably in electrical engineering, electrical & electronics engineering, power systems, or a related field
  • 5-6 years' experience with tender/bid engineering, expertise, or application engineering in regular or standardized offers
  • Strong knowledge in power systems (HV/MV/LV, Substations) or relevant solutions
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation (SLD, specs, contracts)
  • Good understanding of project lifecycle (tender to execution)
  • Knowledge of pricing, costing, and bid structuring principles
  • Understanding of risk management and contract fundamentals
  • Ability to align offers with customer expectations and business goals
  • Awareness of market practices, competitors, and pricing levels
  • Familiarity with Norwegian regulations & standards
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently, meeting deadlines
  • Adaptability in a fast‑paced, changing environment
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills
  • Ability to lead tender activities and influence stakeholders
  • Effective communication with internal teams and customers
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian language
