Job summary

PALFINGER MARINE Norway Offshore Cranes, Winches, Handling and Access Equipment team invites a Team Leader for the control system department in Bergen (Nesttun). You will lead control system engineers across Norway and Poland, driving solutions from concept through testing and service.

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Automation, Mechatronics, Software Eng or similar; leadership a plus.
• Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA skills; Siemens TIA Portal experience preferred.
• Experience with OT networks, cyber security; motion‑compensated systems a plus; people mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the control systems team, ensuring efficient structure and task delegation.
• Own and deliver robust control system solutions with cross‑functional teams.
• Define and optimize engineering workflows, tools and documentation management.
