Job summary

TechnipFMC in Norway seeks a Lead Engineer to steer engineering work in IWOCS & LoF projects. You will bridge the Product Project Manager and engineers, owning sub-system design and technical scope and handling client relations.

The role requires strong subsea engineering knowledge, experience in hydraulic and electrical systems, and fluency in English. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in reviews and EFAT readiness.

Qualifications

Fluent in English, both oral and written.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
Long experience in hydraulic and electric engineering environments.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the system delivered will cover the operational needs and comply with regulations.
Build and maintain the Bill of Materials for the project.
Own the Scope of Supply for the project deliveries.
Work closely with the customer's Lead Engineer on operational needs and solutions.
Oversee the Project Engineer's work for the project, including new solutions and reuse of existing equipment.
Lead EFAT testing and write procedures, collaborating with project engineers, service personnel and the Test Manager.
