Job summary

TechnipFMC in Norway seeks a skilled Lead Engineer to head engineering work on subsea control system projects. You will bridge Product Project Manager and engineers, design subsystems and maintain the scope of supply, while coordinating with the customer.

EFAT testing ownership, interface negotiations, and interdisciplinary reviews are part of the role. The IWOCS & LoF team delivers SACU/IWOCS, Reel & Umbilical, and related systems; onsite collaboration with project teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
Long experience in the hydraulic and electric engineering environment.
Strong understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Fluent in English both oral and written

Responsibilities

Ensure that the system delivered will cover the operational needs as well as being within the given regulations and requirements.
Build and maintain the Bill of Material for the project.
Own the Scope of Supply for the project deliveries.
Work closely with the customer's Lead Engineer, on operational needs and solutions.
Oversee the Project Engineer's work for the project. New solutions and reuse of existing equipment.
Final system testing (EFAT). Write the procedure and lead the test in collaboration with Project Engineers, Service Personnel and Test Manager.
