Job summary

TechnipFMC in Norway seeks a Lead Engineer to steer engineering work for subsea control systems, coordinating between Product Project Manager and engineers. You will own subsystem design, interface clarifications, and EFAT leadership, with involvement in RLWI operations half the time.

Strong communication with clients and stakeholders is essential. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, extensive hydraulic/electric experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
• Long experience in the hydraulic and electric engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering work in projects and manage sub-system design and scope.
• Own the Scope of Supply and build/maintain project BOM.
• Coordinate with customer's Lead Engineer on needs and solutions.
• Oversee Project Engineers and reuse of existing equipment.
• Write EFAT procedures and lead final testing with teams.
