DNV invites motivated Master’s students in Marine Technology to join as a summer student in Maritime Ship Classification Approval – Ship Structures & Stability. You will work under the M-SA-S team, supporting design review, stability and load calculations while collaborating with colleagues across Norway (Ålesund/Høvik) and international locations.

Ideal candidates are in 3rd or 4th year with relevant specializations, fluent in English, and eager to develop technical expertise within a global,

Qualifications

• Targeting 3rd/4th year Master students in related fields.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills are required.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review and approval of ship hull structures.
• Support stability assessments and load calculations under supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers across locations to ensure compliance.
