Job summary

Quality Task Force

Our team consists of highly experienced specialists (including material) who support customers across a wide range of Maritime segments in solving complex engineering challenges. We investigate materials-related failures, create risk anssesments and provide expert advice on critical issues that can impact safety, operational performance, and business reputation. DNV is now looking for a Summer Student who is ready to start their professional journey with us.

What to expect as a Summer Student in the Quality Task Force:
  • You will work alongside and shadow one of DNV's most experienced materials experts.
  • You will gain exposure to real-life technical challenges involving materials, corrosion, failure mechanisms, risk management and communication with frustrated internal/external customers.
  • You will participate in investigations and problem-solving activities where technical excellence must be balanced with customer communication and stakeholder management.
  • You will learn how complex engineering decisions are made when safety, operational risks, and business reputation are involved.
  • You will have the opportunity to observe customer interactions and understand the human and communication aspects of consulting work.
  • You will contribute to projects that help customers maintain safe and reliable operations.
  • You will work in an international and collaborative environment with experts across different technical disciplines.

Who are we looking for?
