Job summary

Equinor is recruiting for the North Development program in northern Norway, Harstad or Stjørdal. You will gain hands-on experience in subsea operations, tackling challenges and learning from a world-leading operator of subsea wells.

You will follow technical plans, support maintenance and commissioning activities, and contribute to safety, audits, and continuous improvement. Degree by Aug 2027 and limited full-time experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in subsea technology, automation, cybernetics, or mechanical engineering (completed by August 2027).
• No more than three years of relevant full-time work experience. Formal experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in subsea operations and troubleshooting.
• Follow-up technical integrity of subsea systems.
• Provide technical and operational support.
• Perform maintenance, modifications, commissioning, and coordination of subsea operations.
• Contribute to discipline delivery teams.
• Follow-up technical plans and lifetime evaluations.
• Contribute to audits and verifications.
• Support safe and efficient operation of new subsea projects.
• Coordinate deliveries and services from subsea suppliers.
