Job summary

TechnipFMC in Kongsberg seeks a Quality Assurance specialist to help ensure subsea products and processes meet standards from design to delivery. You will work with product development, manufacturing, and customer service to prevent defects and drive improvements.

Responsibilities include maintaining ITPs, SOPs, CAPA, and supporting Lean Six Sigma initiatives, with close interaction with supplier quality and cross-functional teams. Fluency in Norwegian and English is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent QA experience.
• Good technical understanding of subsea systems and products.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or similar quality frameworks.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone or similar RCA techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and meet milestones.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Norwegian and English language skills.
• Knowledge of ISO, API and NORSOK standards.
• Proficiency with SAP, Teamcenter and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support True North goals and local program implementations.
• Ensure products, processes, and systems meet standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Leads and Quality Response Team.
• Maintain ITPs for relevant products and tenders.
• Create and maintain SOPs, quality manuals, and reports.
• Identify root causes and develop CAPA actions.
• Assist in training and mentoring team members.
• Lead quality investigations and RCA activities.
• Analyze quality data and drive improvements.
