Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Kongsberg is seeking a Quality Engineer to assist in setting and maintaining high quality standards from design to Life of Field. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, implement CAPA, and drive continuous improvement across product development, manufacturing and supplier interactions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent QA experience, 3-5 years of relevant work, and strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, RCA methods, and subsea

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent QA experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and RCA techniques like 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone.
• Knowledge of subsea systems, ISO, API, and NORSOK standards.
• Proficiency in SAP, Teamcenter, Adobe, and MS Office.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, with the legal right to work in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting and maintaining high quality standards from design to Life of Field.
• Identify quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead quality investigations, RCA, and implement improvements across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet specified standards.
• Maintain quality documentation including SOPs, manuals, and reports.
• Support training and mentoring on quality standards and best practices.
