Job summary
Head Energy is seeking a Control System Software Engineer to develop and deliver control system software for advanced subsea technologies, including compression and boosting systems and swivel stacks.
You will design, implement, and test software for subsea systems, perform upgrades in aftermarket activities, and work closely with suppliers during testing and with multidisciplinary teams across all project phases. Fluency in English is required.
Qualifications
- Holds a BSc or MSc in Automation, Cybernetics, Computer Science/IT, or related engineering field.
- Experience with PLC-based control systems is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver control system software for subsea technologies.
- Design, implement, and test control system software for subsea systems.
- Modify and upgrade delivered control systems during aftermarket activities.
- Participate in component, functional, system, and interface testing.
- Collaborate with suppliers during testing at supplier locations and work with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
- Support implementation and handover of control system software for subsea products.
