Job summary

TechnipFMC in Norway is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to follow products through project deliveries. You will understand customer requirements, build specifications per standards, run design reviews, and coordinate fabrication and documentation.

The role collaborates with the Product Project Manager, Lead Engineer, Planner, and Project Engineer. The IWOCS & LoF department delivers products into projects, including SACU/IWOCS, Reel & Umbilical, FlyWOCS and Umbilical-less systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline.
Long experience in hydraulic and electric engineering environments.
Some understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover products and systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Performs and approves engineering solutions within projects and manufacturing & fabrication.
Optimized engineering solutions.
Provides technical assistance within projects, and manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites.
Ensures compliance with client requirements, industry standards and HSE practices.
Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and teams.
