Job summary

MDE Stavanger is seeking a Contract Lead to drive the client’s procurement activities, establish and manage agreements, and oversee contract changes and close-outs in a structured, compliant manner.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master in SCM/finance/economics/law with at least 5 years of contracting experience and strong English or Norwegian communication. This permanent/project-based position offers access to a broad project portfolio and mobilization support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in supply chain management, finance, economics or law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within contracting work.
• Good communication skills (written and oral) in English and/or Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities and establish/manage agreements.
• Hold mandate to legally commit client to suppliers per approval requirements.
• Lead process to establish agreements and ensure compliant, efficient operations.
