Job summary

Shield AI seeks a senior autonomy software leader to drive end-to-end development of mission-critical software for unmanned platforms. You will architect and implement scalable autonomy subsystems, interfacing with sensors, state estimation, and communications across product lines.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, own technical direction, and guide lifecycle activities from requirements to deployment in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years in software sub-systems, planning or flight controls.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with ROS/OMPL and high-assurance development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end autonomy software delivery for unmanned platforms.
• Architect scalable software subsystems interfacing with sensors and communications.
• Drive requirements, design, verification, and validation across lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users.
