Job summary

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace is seeking an Operational Purchaser for its SmallSat program in Norway. You will issue RFQs, place POs, and manage supplier relations in an international space environment.

The role requires a background in purchasing or supply chain, experience with ERP systems, and strong negotiation skills. Applicants must have good English and be eligible for Norwegian and NATO security clearance.

Qualifications

• Educated within purchasing, supply chain management and/or technical background.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High sense of ownership and responsibility; strong attention to quality in execution.
• Good English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs based on project and line needs and manage end-to-end purchasing process.
• Place POs and ensure close follow-up with suppliers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with supplier base and onboard new suppliers.
• Support strategic sourcing activities when needed.
