Job summary

Nussir ASA in Norway seeks a structured, hands-on warehouse and logistics operator to support the project and future operations, ensuring safe handling, storage, inventory control and timely distribution of materials and equipment.

You will work under the Materials Management & Warehouse Lead to develop competence, implement SAP inventory practices, optimize layout, perform cycle counts, coordinate with logistics, and contribute to continuous process improvements while complying with HSE

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related experience in supply chain, procurement and logistics.
• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Norwegian fluency is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Support receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
• Perform safe handling of materials including mining equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
• Support implementation of inventory control principles (FIFO, stock levels, traceability).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in SAP.
• Support warehouse layout, storage optimization, and housekeeping.
• Assist with picking, packing, and issuing materials to construction and operations.
• Coordinate with logistics and expediting for receipt and tracking of deliveries.
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory verification activities.
• Support preservation and storage requirements for equipment and materials.
• Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or risks impacting inventory or operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, company procedures, and warehouse standards.
• Support continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes.
• Learn and develop competencies under guidance of Warehouse Lead.
• Submit warehouse and inventory reports as required.

Reporting Line: Materials Management & Warehouse Lead

Purpose

The role requires a structured and hands-on operator responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics activities for both the project and future operations. The position ensures safe handling, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials and equipment required for site activities. The role will develop into an operational position and will work closely with the Materials Management & Warehouse Lead to build competence, systems understanding, and best practices for long‑term operations.

Scope & Accountability

• Escalate risks impacting inventory, safety, or operations
• Support enforcement of warehouse processes and standards
• Initiate corrective actions for inventory discrepancies under guidance
• Operate warehouse systems and tools within defined authority.
