Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a skilled Site Manager for rotation assignments in the Stavanger area, Norway. You will oversee all site activities, supervise the electrical & mechanical installation subcontractor, and ensure safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience on HV transmission, substations, GIS or EPC infrastructure projects, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills and fluency in English and Norwegian.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams and manage subcontractors.

Job Description:

• Overall management and coordination of site activities.
• Supervision of the M&E installation subcontractor.
• Site safety, quality and schedule oversight.
• Coordination with project management and functional teams.
• Stakeholder and customer interface management.
• Progress reporting and site administration.
• Coordination of installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Supporting Mechanical Completion, SAT and energisation activities.
• Ensuring compliance with project procedures, contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
• Significant experience as Site Manager on HV transmission, substation, GIS, or EPC infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing site-based subcontractors and construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to support the proposed rotation schedule and site-based assignment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience on 132kV, 300kV, 400kV or 420kV transmission projects.
• Experience working within the Nordic power transmission sector.
• Experience supporting testing, commissioning and energisation activities.
• Familiarity with utility-scale substation and grid infrastructure projects.
• Based in Norway & able to commute easily to the Stavanger region and maintain regular site presence.
• Fluent Norwegian and English language skills, both written and spoken.
