Job summary

Zalaris is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead HR and payroll services for 44 clients across Norway, coordinating SAP-related processes and ensuring compliance. You will manage client relationships, monitor KPIs, and drive cost optimization with cross-location collaboration.

Role Summary

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will join a team of nine across three sites, supporting 44 clients in Norway, including numerous multinational firms. You will ensure smooth delivery of HR and payroll services and meet agreed performance targets. Acting as the main link between Zalaris and our clients, you’ll manage relationships, oversee SAP-related processes, and drive operational excellence and compliance.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients ensuring an exceptional customer experience and high-quality service delivery.
• Guarantee services are delivered in alignment with contractual SLAs by monitoring, reporting, and analysing KPIs related to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Take ownership of your client’s service-related financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring.
• Efficiently assist in managing change request implementation processes by coordinating testing, deployments, and system enhancements within the payroll platform with our dedicated Change Order Team.
• Ensure adherence to Zalaris’ internal controls, policies, and compliance standards.
• Proactively lead automation initiatives (e.g., RPA), transition activities to nearshore/offshore teams, and identify further cost optimization opportunities.
• Foster strong collaboration with other Zalaris functions and locations to support integrated service delivery.

Your Experience and Skills

• Excellent Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken.
• A solid understanding of HR administration and payroll accounting.
• Experience from HR outsourcing, accounting, IT, or other relevant business areas.
• Experience with customer relationship management and process optimization.
• A business- and service-oriented approach, with analytical skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, at an advanced level.
• A proven ability to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks to achieve desired results within tight deadlines.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation.
• A positive attitude and a proactive, energetic, and adaptable working style, with the ability to manage demanding workloads effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP and/or payroll.
• Knowledge of SAP HCM, global payroll, and partner management.
• Previous experience in administrative roles.
• Experience as a team leader or with people management responsibilities.
