Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in technical safety or related engineering.
• 5-10 years of offshore design and modification experience in Norway.
• In-depth knowledge of Ptil, ISO and NORSOK standards.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High degree of self-learning and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems (PFP/AFP, EER, SIL).
• Coordinate, checks, and verifications across disciplines.
• Identify and facilitate risk and verification activities (HAZID, WEHRA, design reviews).
• Provide input on cost and plan activities for safety aspects.
• Follow up with clients, vendors, and third parties to ensure project alignment.
• Support and guide other engineers within the team.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement processes and experience transfer.
