Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Subsea Controls SME to support the technical management and development of the Subsea Control Module portfolio. The role is based in Stavanger and involves coordinating across assets, projects, and suppliers to ensure availability, production and safe operation of subsea facilities.

Qualifications

• Higher technical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience with subsea control systems, SCM or related tech.
• Experience from design, project, operation, maintenance, or lifecycle management of subsea control systems.
• Experience with technical requirements, system interfaces and supplier follow-up.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to task forces, technical investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Develop and maintain a holistic technical overview of the client's SCM portfolio.
• Analyze product variants, installed base, technical condition, criticality and lifecycle status.
• Advise on standardization, upgrades, replacements and lifecycle extension.
• Support projects in selecting control system architectures, SCM solutions and interfaces.
• Develop and improve technical requirements and best practices for SCMs and interfaces.
• Ensure field experience is reflected in future requirements and product choices.
