Job summary

NOV Process Systems seeks an experienced Senior EPC Project Manager based in Oslo to lead offshore EPC projects from award to delivery, coordinating engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning globally.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams of 30–100 across multiple countries, ensuring HSE, cost and schedule targets while maintaining client satisfaction and NOV processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing complex offshore EPC projects.
  • Proven ability delivering large-scale offshore projects end-to-end.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of offshore EPC projects valued USD 50–150 million.
  • Lead 30–100 member multidisciplinary teams across countries.
  • Own project performance: HSE, quality, cost, schedule, risk, satisfaction.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, controls.
  • Manage interface between engineering and fabrication yards.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications and NOV processes.
  • Build relationships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial performance: risks, variations, budgets, contracts.
  • Foster collaborative, high-performing project environment.

Job description

Position Summary

NOV Process Systems is seeking an experienced Senior EPC Project Manager to lead the successful execution of complex offshore EPC projects for our global customer base. Based in Oslo, Norway, you will manage multidisciplinary projects valued between USD 50–150 million, taking full ownership from project award through engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and final delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution and delivery of complex offshore EPC projects valued between USD 50–150 million.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project organisations consisting of 30–100 team members located across multiple countries and third‑party fabrication sites.
  • Take full accountability for project performance, including HSE, quality, cost, schedule, risk, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the interface between engineering teams and fabrication yards to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, contractual requirements, international standards, and NOV's project execution processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial performance by proactively managing project risks, variations, budgets, and contractual obligations.
  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performing project environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing complex EPC projects within the offshore Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale offshore EPC projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.
  • Strong technical understanding of offshore process facilities, including process modules, piping systems, structural steel, valves, instrumentation, mechanical equipment, and fabrication.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams in international environments.
  • Hands‑on experience coordinating engineering and fabrication activities.
  • Strong commercial understanding with experience managing contracts, project finances, change management, and risk.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required during project execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering offshore topside process module projects.
  • Experience working with global engineering teams and international fabrication yards.
  • Strong understanding of EPC project execution methodologies and international industry standards.
  • Experience managing multicultural project organisations and international client relationships.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is considered an advantage.
