Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Sr. Manager Software Engineering to lead the Display and Image Analysis team within Cardiovascular Ultrasound.

This high-performing, multidisciplinary team consists of software developers, data engineers, and data scientists. The role requires strong people leadership, solid software-development experience, and the ability to translate clinical needs into valuable product solutions.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in CS or software engineering.
≥4 years professional software development and practices.
Proven people-management or tech-leadership experience.
Strong English communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, data scientists, and data engineers.
Provide technical and organizational direction across diverse software activities.
Engage in technical discussions, assess risks, dependencies, and solutions.
Balance delivery speed with product quality and long-term technical sustainability.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, clinicians, program leadership, and other teams.
Own product quality within the team and drive preventive and corrective actions.
