Job summary

Seccl is seeking a senior engineer to design, build and operate scalable software solutions using TypeScript and Node.js. You will work within a domain-aligned cross-functional squad, owning services from design to operation with autonomy and accountability.

You’ll help maintain high reliability, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers while collaborating with product, operations and customer teams in a fast-paced, regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers and delivering in a build-and-run model.
• Familiarity with on-call processes and regulated/financial services domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable software solutions within your domain.
• Own the end-to-end service from design to operation in a build-and-run model.
• Be accountable for SLAs and continuous improvements of your products.
• Maintain and extend documentation for your services.
