Job summary

Seccl is seeking a Platform engineer to shape and evolve the cloud platform underpinning its investment products. You’ll treat the platform as a product, enabling teams to self-serve and deliver scalable AWS infrastructure with Terraform.

Within the Cloud Resilience team, you’ll work with Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, MongoDB Atlas and Datadog. Expect travel to Bath, London and Edinburgh a couple of times a month.

Qualifications

• You’re a pragmatic platform engineer with experience in regulated environments.
• You’re comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript applications and collaborating with dev teams.
• You understand MongoDB and PostgreSQL and can diagnose, design, and optimize for scale and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Design cloud-native solutions with AWS services and MongoDB with a focus on serverless architectures.
• Contribute to incident response, production readiness, and reliability initiatives across squads.
