Job summary

Omega Subsea is looking for an experienced ROV Tooling Engineer with a hands-on ROV background to take technical ownership of our ROV tooling portfolio. Our dedicated tooling technology company provides, manufactures and supports advanced ROV tooling for safer, smarter and more efficient offshore operations.

In this role, you will contribute to the technical development, standardisation and lifecycle management of our ROV tooling systems, working closely with offshore personnel, project teams,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in ROV operations or similar subsea operations.
• Hands-on ROV tooling experience within offshore, subsea or workshop environments.
• Strong hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, fault-finding and repair.
• Experience leading or coordinating technicians.
• Good understanding of ROV tooling interfaces and control systems.
• Familiarity with asset management and maintenance systems.
• Strong English communication skills; Norwegian is beneficial.
• Relevant technical certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of the ROV tooling fleet and its integrity.
• Coordinate maintenance, servicing and repairs; ensure mobilisation-readiness.
• Provide leadership to workshop technicians and coordinate activities.
• Verify tooling packages meet project requirements and define interfaces.
