Job summary

TSC Subsea Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and support mechanical systems for advanced robotic platforms used in subsea inspection and integrity work. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create robust solutions that meet stringent NDT application requirements in demanding offshore environments.

The role emphasizes CAD proficiency, materials selection, structural analysis, and testing, with opportunities to advance in cutting‑edge NDT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• Proven mechanical design experience, preferably in robotics or automation.
• Proficient in CAD tools for 3D modelling (SolidWorks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD).
• Experience with materials selection, structural analysis and testing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for robotic solutions and integrate components.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to enable seamless integration.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate designs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support manufacturing and operations.
• Develop and maintain CAD models, drawings, and technical specs.
• Participate in test procedure development to ensure reliability and performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and subsea industry trends.
