Zusammenfassung

Omega Subsea is seeking a Training & Competence Coordinator with a strong ROV or subsea background to join our Training & Competence team. You will work closely with offshore personnel, assessors, and internal teams to keep competence activities on track and maintain accurate records.

You will identify training needs, follow competence progression, annual appraisals, and 1:1 reviews, and help develop our competence management system.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant technical education in ROV, subsea, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
• Strong ROV or subsea background with understanding of offshore operations and IMCA competence requirements.
• Experience in subsea industry; extensive offshore experience not essential.
• Competence or assessor qualifications are advantageous.
• Good IT skills and experience with competence management systems, MS Office, and Excel.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Norwegian is advantageous but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Maintain competence records, evidence, and progression status across offshore workforce.
• Monitor completion and follow up personnel and assessors on outstanding actions.
• Coordinate annual appraisals and 1:1 follow-up meetings with accurate recording of actions.
• Support competence management system queries from personnel, assessors, and verifiers.
• Produce competence reports and dashboards to identify training needs and gaps.
• Assist development and revision of competence awards, workbooks, and assessment documentation.
• Ensure records are accurate, traceable, and ready for audits and client reviews.
