Evotec in Ulsteinvik, Norway, seeks a Purchaser or Senior Purchaser to secure the right products from the right suppliers at the right cost on global projects in marine and offshore sectors. You will lead purchasing activities, prepare RFQs, negotiate terms, manage orders and build strategic supplier relationships, while ensuring delivery, quality and cost targets across international supply chains.

The role collaborates with project managers, engineers and production teams, and offers

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
• Senior role requires minimum 5 years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or contract management.
• Proven supplier negotiations and contract management experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
• Good technical understanding to interpret technical specifications.
• Experience with ERP systems and digital procurement tools.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute purchasing activities for projects and framework agreements.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate terms, and manage purchase orders.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement aligned with project requirements and delivery schedules.
• Develop and maintain relationships with national and international suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization.
• Coordinate material flow between suppliers and fabrication sites domestically and internationally.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage risks, and resolve delivery challenges.
• Support project teams with procurement expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to development and standardization of procurement processes and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to purchasing colleagues when needed.
