Due to continued growth, we are strengthening our project organisation and are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, international land-based aquaculture projects typically exceeding EUR 10M.
As Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project execution—from contract award through engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
You will act as the central link between client, engineering, design, supply chain and site execution, ensuring structured and predictable project delivery in line with contractual commitments.
You will be part of a global organisation where collaboration, professional sparring, and knowledge sharing across functions are fundamental to how we work. Projects are executed across borders, and you will typically lead international, cross-functional project teams with potential members from Denmark, Norway, Chile and China.

The position reports to the Head of Smolt Projects and is part of a team of nine highly skilled Project Managers and two Project Planners. Together, the team is responsible for delivering safe, predictable, and high-quality project execution across a diverse portfolio of projects, with close and continuous interaction with the hole Landbased organisation and with our customers.
The position is based at AKVA Group’s headquarters in Klepp, just a short drive from Stavanger and Sandnes, with convenient access by train and bus. Due to the international nature of our projects and organisation, a moderate level of travel should be expected, typically around 10-30 days per year, depending on project phases and specific assignments.
