Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead all engineering tasks for SPS projects, ensuring safety, quality and compliance while delivering on time and within budget.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across geographies, manage detailed engineering planning, and drive monthly reviews and manpower decisions to meet project goals. The role requires travel for international project needs.

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-based discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
• Be able to create and lead multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams.
• Be able to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Overall engineering leadership on project.
• Responsible for the project technical relationship with the client.
• Accountable for the detailed engineering integrated planning and execution to the plan.
• Coordinate COE’s engineering activities to achieve overall budgeted hours for all packages.
• Lead monthly scheduled reviews that track progress and spending by team.
• Monitor, explain and resolve any deviations from the early baseline on the S-curve for engineering.
• Drive on-time delivery through regular meetings and detailed team engagement.
• Issue and approve manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scopes that enters the project
