Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead all engineering tasks for SPS projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. You will drive technical leadership and manage client relationships while coordinating global engineering activities.

The role requires senior engineering experience, ability to lead dispersed teams, and willingness to travel internationally for project needs and short assignments.

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-based discipline.
• Experience in project engineering, systems engineering, or project engineering management at product or system level.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams.
• Proven ability to lead programs/projects and document, plan, and execute them.

Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering tasks related to delivery of an SPS project to client, within budget and on time.
• Provide engineering leadership and maintain the technical relationship with the client.
• Coordinate COE’s engineering activities to meet budgeted hours for all packages.
• Drive on-time delivery through regular meetings and team engagement; manage manpower and scope changes.

The EPC Engineering Project Manager role is responsible for leading all engineering tasks related to delivery of a SPS project to client, within budget and on time. They must be focused on safety, quality and compliance. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for Overall engineering leadership on project Responsible for the project technical relationship with the client. Accountable for the detailed engineering integrated planning and execution to the plan. Coordinate COE’s engineering activities to achieve overall budgeted hours for all packages. Lead monthly scheduled reviews that track progress and spending by team. Monitor, explain and resolve any deviations from the early baseline on the S-curve for engineering. Drive on-time delivery through regular meetings and detailed team engagement. Issue and approve manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scopes that enters the project. To be successful in this role, you will:

• Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-based discipline.
• Previous experience in positions such as project engineering, system engineering or project engineering management at product or system level.
• Be able to create and lead multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams.
• Be able to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions..
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills.
• Be available to travel internationally for project needs and for short term assignments.
