Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to lead SP&S deals from a commercial and contractual perspective across the full deal lifecycle. You will guide negotiations, assess risk, and ensure compliance with contractual commitments while aligning with business objectives.

You will collaborate with bid, engineering and sourcing teams, manage variation orders and amendments, and advise project managers on contractual matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business or related field.
• Experience in contract management within energy or large industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English; effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead as commercial and contractual lead across the deal lifecycle.
• Develop and negotiate detailed contractual agreements with cross-functional teams.
• Support bid/proposal teams in scope, pricing, and communications.
• Manage deal risk, governance, and internal review processes.
• Oversee contractual and commercial aspects during project execution; handle variations/ amendments.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and manage documentation and processes.
• Provide guidance to project managers, engineering, sourcing, and leadership on contractual matters.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks; lead risk/opportunity reviews.
• Lead negotiations related to claims, counterclaims, and disputes.
