Job summary

Cyviz is seeking a Senior Project Controller to join the Finance Department in Oslo. You will manage the project controlling area, ensuring profitable and predictable delivery, and work closely with project managers, accounting and senior management.

In this role you will own the cost, revenue and contribution margin tracking, drive standardization, and provide real-time visibility of project profitability across a global organization.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of project economics, controlling, accounting and B2B.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Norwegian is an advantage).
• Knowledge of Project Management tools and best practices.
• Education in finance, business, accounting or engineering.
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 an advantage).
• Independent, yet a team player with global exposure.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of project controlling — track cost, revenue and contribution margin.
• Ensure all projects run on a single, auditable model with accounting.
• Provide real-time visibility of project profitability across the global organization.
• Run order-intake quality assurance to ensure correct project setup.
• Drive process standardization and quality across global project managers.
• Run forecasting and monthly closing for the project portfolio.
• Define and monitor KPIs to ensure situational awareness.
• Responsible for project estimation to quantify cost overrun risks.
• Challenge project managers to take corrective actions when needed.
• Partner with PMs to generate change orders and feed lessons learned to sales.
