Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a Project Controller to join the Energy & Control, Finance team in Kongsberg, Norway. You will help ensure strong financial control and support throughout project lifecycles, collaborating with Project Managers and colleagues across Finance, Sales, Delivery and Product management.

You will contribute to high-quality financial insights, project profitability, and successful project execution, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and providing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of project business.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Experience in a similar finance or project controlling role is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the Project Controller team
• Establish projects in ERP systems and maintain project budgets
• Perform invoicing and crediting activities
• Support month-end closing activities, including revenue and cost recognition
• Prepare monthly project reporting and participate in project reviews
• Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities
• Provide financial support and analysis to project teams and stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement and other ad hoc tasks within the Finance team
